Suspended-tow recovery operations on large motorhomes can often result in damage to the bodywork, steering and suspension of the disabled vehicle, but Midland International have developed an entirely different approach with their purpose-designed vehicles.

Midland's state of the art recovery/transporter trucks are based on the Leyland/Daf 95 XF Chassis and are fitted with special low-level platform decks. Air suspension allows the rear of the deck to be lowered to within 9 inches of ground level and using the onboard heavy duty winching system, loading and unloading are easy, safe operations

The trucks can accommodate motorhomes up to 40ft in length, 15ft in height and weighing up to 13 tonnes. Additionally, a towed or trailer recovery facility can be included where required.

The service is suitable for motorhomes and for other specialist long-wheelbase vehicles such as stretched limousines and is available directly to owners or through the main motoring organisations such as the AA, RAC and Green Flag
